Is there a reason why the "Pagination primitive" is not considered yet?

I've already seen a lot of issues and discussions that are up there.

I've seen a lot of people come up with good suggestions and I've seen the logic of different design systems as examples.

First of all, users want this feature a lot. But is there a reason why PageNation hasn't been adopted yet?

I'm also building a design system with radix. If you're going to build a PageNation, I'd like to push for functionality, what do you think?
