Can't set sample format

I have an issue with my Zoom F6 Audio recorder.

When i use it in usb interface mode it works just fine. But when i put it in the mode where it can record at the same time as being an audio interface ("AIF with Rec") it locks to a specific sample rate i set up in the device (44.1 or 48kHz).

Darkice can't handle this as it always tries to set the sample rate even if the configured one matches exactly the one i set the Zoom F6 to.

Any chance to solve this? Thank you!
