Sorry but I am confused about the :before and :after behaviour and syntax. When I leave them out, I get an error, so I guess they are required. But what if I want to add something to the end of a file? Because maybe I don't know what's in the file so I can't specify a proper :after value?
Could it be that the default behaviour for a missing :after and :before would be the same behaviour as append_to_file?
And could it be so that :after => EOF and :before =>BOF just alias append and prepend?
Just a suggestion. Or did I miss something that is already possible?
