I was working on the cast: #275-how-i-test, and following the instructions, yet I met the following problem when using guard:
the gaurd console warning me that the variable Factory doesn't exists.
Factory
the original spec/factories.rb is:
Factory.define :user do |f| f.sequence(:email) { |n| "foo#{n}@example.com" } f.password "secret" end
which I changed to the following to make the Guard run normally:
FactoryGirl.define do factory :user do |f| f.sequence(:email) { |n| "foo#{n}@example.com" } f.password "secret" end end
I hope this short notice would be helpful to those who come across the same situation.
