All the work done on the Fermat project is done by a Team. We have several teams working in parallel. Most of them are teams of developers, but these are not the only types of teams. We also have teams of graphic designers, 3d artists, video producers, copy writers, publishing, etc.
At this file you will find a list of Fermat developers teams. Feel free to contact their team leaders if you want to join them.
The maximun size of a team is 5 people. Among all of them, they should have all the skill sets needed for these kind of projects.
Fermat teams are organized in a hierarchical way. This helps the task of reviewing changes in source code, since it is expected that a child team changes are pushed to its parent team in order to be reviewed, merged with their own changes and pushed again to the next parent in the hierarchy. At the top the core developers are the only ones merging the combined batch of changes into the bitDubai codebase.

- Standard team size is of 5 full-time members.
- One full-time member can be replaced by 2 part-time members.
- Developers can go up the category list and they can also go down in certain circumstances.
- Going up or down a categorý is decided by the developers's team leader or parent team leader according to these rules.
- To move up one category or to keep the current one, all the conditions of previous categories need to have been met.
- To be awarded means to win the full bounty at the month targeted by the bounty program.
- When a criteria is met to go up a category, the developer will be moved up the following calendar month.
- When a full team has a child sub-team leaded by one of the current members:
a. Their current team leader must add a full-time developer within the same month in order to keep his category.
b. Failing to do so, will move him down the next month to Team Leader.
c. Succeeding to get a full-time member will probably move him to New Parent Team Leader if this was his first child. - Team leaders can remove members from their teams with a reasonable cause (lack of engagement, performance, etc.).
