Rancher Server Setup

  • Rancher version: 2.8.4
  • Installation option helm
    • If Helm Chart, Kubernetes Cluster and version k3s- v1.29.1+k3s2

Information about the Cluster

  • Kubernetes version:
  • Cluster Type (Local/Downstream):local

User Information

  • What is the role of the user logged in? (Admin/Cluster Owner/Cluster Member/Project Owner/Project Member/Custom)
    • If custom, define the set of permissions: Admin

Describe the bug

Error: INSTALLATION FAILED: chart requires kubeVersion: < 1.29.0-0 which is incompatible with Kubernetes v1.29.1+k3s2

Use a previous version of k3s when installing rancher.
