We need to test light install mode and ingress feature to see they work as designed.

  1. For light installation, Rio by default turns on build and autoscaling feature on demand. By default if you install Rio these two feature will be turned off. If you create a service that enable autoscaling or build, rio-controller will reconcile and restart these feature. We need to test regression on these two features.
  2. For cluster that has less 3GB, linkerd will be turned off be default.
  3. You can disable gloo feature now, instead ingress mode will be used as routing gateway. We need to test that after we disable gloo we should still be able to access endpoints.

Overall this is working. Created #922 to address few things that came from it.
