I've been trying to create a site with a custom ID, but I've kept receiving 404 errors from the API. Digging into the logs I noticed that a NullPointerException is thrown (I'll include the full trace below). Strangely when you use a site ID that already exists it creates one no bother which is a bit weird.

Expected Behavior

Ability to create a site with a custom ID (so the site can be deleted programmatically later)

Actual Behavior

Site IDs are auto incremented so it is not possible to specify a custom ID for a new site. I'm not sure if that error is expected or not (probably it should either just work and return the actual generated ID or give a more meaningful error about what went wrong).

@gschneider-r7 I assumed as much, IMHO it makes it difficult to know what the ID should be if you have removed some previous sites, so in the InsightVM console you see 6 sites but in reality their IDs can be anything from 1-15 due to deletions. I'm going to try creating a static site which doesn't require an ID to see if that solves my use case, although with the IDs it would be good if either specifying an ID wasn't required, or some way for a user to specify a unique identifier instead (although that's likely a Rapid7 improvement request than something that can be solved in this repo).

I'm not sure why the ID would be required for the create call, that may be a mistake in the swagger docs or something. For older APIs using -1 was common for indicating "new", though.

And yes the IDs always increment forever, there is no backfilling of previously deleted IDs.
