When I select and apply ltconfig in the plugin,
terminal shows:

New install of deluge on Ubuntu deluge won' start . I have the same error. What is the resolution?

I worked around this issue by hand-editing the call to findCaller, as mentioned in this issue

Please try this: pip install -U twisted then do pip install -U attrs

In case others come across this like I did, the easier solution is to use the latest version of Deluge, installed from the official stable PPA: https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Installing/Linux/Ubuntu#AddDelugePPARepository
