hideTooltip: true currently result in a ugly little square being shown anyway.

That config should be removed and the tooltip improved to be useful (e.g. show the effect name or so)

It is my own feeling, whenever I unconsciously hover the mouse upon panon, the tooltip dialog will pop up. And it is highly likely to happen, because I have a very wide panon. To me, the dialog is really annoying, especially when I put both my hands on the keyboard, and find something important is blocked by the tooltip dialog. Compare to that, even an ugly little square is totally acceptable.

I can improve the tooltip for you or someone else, but I myself don't want that tooltip dialog at all.

(I am using latte-dock, don't know how KDE panel's tooltip behaves)

I see, we should probably file a bug report for KDE’s panel then to make them hide the tool tip completely if toolTipItem == null.
