Sorry to do this, but I'm not sure how to enable BeatUpClient. I realize it is in BETA and as such, there is no documentation. Is there a high-level explanation I can start off from or should I just wait until it's out of beta?

Enable? What do you mean?

From my understanding, I need BeatUpClient in addition to BeatUpServer if I want to enable the following features:

  • Downloading of levels not available on BeatSaver
  • Per-player difficulty
  • Per-player modifiers
  • Skipping the countdown
  • Skipping the end-of-level podium

I was assuming each person would need BeatUpClient who connects to the server, is that accurate?

Only the player creating the lobby needs the BeatUpClient mod installed.

Sounds good, how do you install BeatUpClient? I'm assuming it isn't just moving the files into the beatsaber directory?

It is in fact just moving files into the beatsaber directory :)
The DLL goes in the Plugins folder, alongside your other mods.

lol I think we are talking past each other. If I download the release from https://github.com/rcelyte/BeatUpRcelyte/releases/tag/0.3.1 it downloads the repo. I'm assuming I need to compile the files in the BeatUpClient folder to get a .dll? Or am I very blind and just missing an obvious .dll file.
