Amazon EC2 Windows support allows a PowerShell script to be passed in through user data - http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/UsingConfig_WinAMI.html#UsingConfigInterface_WinAMI. It would be more convenient to use this mechanism to start a WinRM-ready instance than having to RDP in, open PowerShell and run a script.
Make the necessary changes to support the use of this mechanism. Document how to use it. Link to the documentation from README.md
