It makes things work but is it the right solution ? : drowngrading being just a temporary fix. |
I'm also facing same issue. I tried multiple times and ways. But no success. I'll try by changing gradle path. Hope It'll work. On changing gradle path to 3.2.1 its working for react-native-map but compilation failing for react-native-navigation v2 |

Hope this should solve your issue. Else upload the log we'll see. |
I'm having the same issue tried all of the above methodes, none are working. |
I'm closing this issue too because master is working with RN 0.59.1 as expected once gradle configs are updated Please see |
In RN 0.59.1 with "yarn add react-native-maps" my app is not working, getting this error: Deprecated Gradle features were used in this build, making it incompatible with Gradle 5.0. |
When is the next version bump planned? |
This solved my issue! Thank you |
Updating to master breaks my iOS build. I'm also facing an issue with react-native-navigation where they recommend setting gradle to 3.3.0, so the above solution doesn't work. |
"yarn add react-native-maps" now works with react-native-maps verison 0.24.0 |
still failing and none of the above solution works.. |
I solved this problem without update library by add in android/app/build.gradle
