It looks like the SHOW READYSET TABLES is determined by whether snapshot_mode is enabled or not. When we disable it, that starts compaction, so there could be quite a while left before SHOW READYSET STATUS, which only reports completion after all compaction is done, says things are done.

Tables can’t be used for caches until compaction is done, hence the “pending” number.

We should probably consider changing the SHOW READYSET TABLES to account for compaction if possible.
