@reaper47 - I'm not sure what you're planning for this one, but perhaps I could suggest a minimalist workflow that would seem to match your philosophy here.

  1. Select your receipes you want to add to your list
  2. Allow for multiples of the same receipe "item" to get more ingredients (similar to a shopping cart)
  3. "Checkout" by sending your groceries to an external source. While exporting as a text file is the easiest it would be ideal to try to get this compatiable with existing to do list apps (Grocy, apple reminders, todoist etc.) which people use for shopping. This is the key feature IMO to reduce the friction.

N.B. Thanks for taking a crack at this space, I think your approach of get the key stuff right is great.
