libburn : SORRY : Failed to open device (a pseudo-drive) : Permission denied

Do you have permissions to write the ISO image file ($ISO_DIR)?

Hello,

Yes, it is NFS share and it has below permission.

# ls -ld /backup/b0d0c9z2/
drwxrwxrwx 3 nobody nobody 4096 Mar 30 05:00 /backup/b0d0c9z2/

# df -h |grep b0d0c9z2
b0d0s4t2.com:/backup/b0d0c9z2 162G 127G 27G 83% /backup/b0d0c9z2

I would still point ISO_DIR to some local directory (or not set it and set OUTPUT_URL=file://... ) to rule out NFS problems.
(Is the NFS share exported and mounted read/write?)

You can also try to set ISO_DIR to a nonexistent subdirectory: ISO_DIR=/backup/b0d0c9z2/subdir, ReaR will create the subdirectory, so if there is problem with writes to the NFS share, you will see the problem sooner.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for you support. You are right, I dont know why but it was a problem of write permission on NFS share.

thanks.
