The Hikari Extension was freshly added to Aniyomi yesterday.

Unfortunately we ran into the issue that on the Dantotsu App the Subtitles are not showing. The Language Options for the Subtitles are there, but it's not showing the Subtitles in the Video.

We also saw that it's not possible to have Multi-Audio Tracks for the Videos. Almost over a half of our Library Videos are Multi-Audio as well, but we're not able to select them in the Player. On the Aniyomi App it's working fine.

I'm glad to help on this matter and would love to fix this, so People can enjoy the Extension as best as possible.

I would try in the beta version of the app. It's possible this was fixed in that one

Thanks, I just checked out the Beta and the Alpha Version of the App, but neither seem to work.

Also neither of them seem to work Multi-Audio, I'm not able to change the Audio from either to Japanese to English.

I had quite a bigger talk with the People from Aniyomi.

The Problem here also is that the Subtitles are segmented VTT's, which also face some problems. For an example it does stack the Subtitles over each other when tapping on the screen twice and skipping 10 seconds which then looks like this:

as usual exoplayer doesn't give any useful logs.
I'm wondering if it's having trouble accessing from inside the m3u8 file

@brahmkshatriya I rue the day you chose exoplayer for this God-forsaken app.

Mpv when vro 😂

Also, i genuinely have no clue for this, It might be due to how video is being decoded? Maybe make an issue on androidx/media
