Hi,
Can red5 installed on centos6.6 or red5 built for centos6.5?

Sure, we've had it running on a CentOS 6 box for a while without issue.

I've tested on the 5.x versions of Centos; It should work a-ok on other versions so long as you have java 6 or 7 installed.

Do you have an actual issue related to Centos? Did you fail to get it installed? Otherwise this is not an issue and I'll have to close it.

In fact right after I opened the issue I installed it on centos 6.6 checked and everything ran as expected!
must to mention java -version = openjdk version "1.8.0_25"
