I would like be able to use helm charts for deploying instead of depending on the existence of the OLM on the cluster.

But definitely, we can have it as part of the project. Super helpful.

Decide where to place the chart.

  1. Separate repo

Make it available through artifacthub.io

The helm chart is published to https://redhat-developer.github.io/service-binding-operator-helm-chart/ repository.
The chart is added to artifacthub and can be found at https://artifacthub.io/packages/helm/service-binding-operator-helm-chart/service-binding-operator

Closing this issue as we have published the chart to a helm repository and added it to artifacthub as well.
