Hi @lufeilong now, redis 3.x is too old, we don't maintain it. |

Hi @ShooterIT, please recommend a stable version that you will maintain. thank you! Due to security and other concerns, we were not able to upgrade to the latest version of Redis in a short time. So we plan to upgrade to Redis-4.x from Redis-3.x recently, will the Redis-4.x be maintained by your team? If yes, please apply the "Log the Detected slow Lua script" feature to the next release. Thanks! |

Our company using the Redis-3.2.12
Recently, we encountered the slow lua script issue, and it made our redis servers crashes.
The following logs do not help us locate the bad Lua Scipt.
Lua slow script detected: still in execution after 10051 milliseconds. You can try killing the script using the SCRIPT KILL command.
I found an useful feature introduced in Redis-6.0, it will print the SHA1 of the bad lua script together with the information above.
E.g:
Lua slow script detected: still in execution after 5000 milliseconds. You can try killing the script using the SCRIPT KILL command. Script SHA1 is: 2531e4edc1a1e2a9bac3c52e99466f9ccabf12c0
Git Commits:
Please help to apply this feature to Redis-3.x.x, it is really helpful for us.
Thank you!
