I'm having this same issue as the #27 with the latest version on NPM.

Failed to execute 'postMessage' on 'DOMWindow': The target origin provided ('https://www.youtube.com') does not match the recipient window's origin ('http://localhost:8080').

I'm using the plyr player on a modal and when I show the modal the error occurs.

I'm not sure if it's related but if I close the modal and open a new one with a different video this one doesn't load, and if I go back to the first modal the video doesn't show as well.

Any news on that one? This is the only thing missing in my project right now.

This is a problem with the either the plyr implementation of the youtube embedding or youtube's embedded player. Neither are maintained by me. Feel free to open up an issue with sampotts/plyr if you need to have this fixed. He can probably give you more information on this one.
