The ORSO Chairs have drafted a constitution and would welcome feedback before this is voted on at the AGM:
Please see the draft and comment below.

I would have one suggestion to section 4: we should aim to get overlap between WG chairs to keep the ball rolling. So I'd suggest that the terms of 4 yeas shell be kept but one new chair shall be voted for every 2 years.

Thanks Artur, that is exactly the intention... and yes, it should be clarified in the text. I suggest the following modification:
4.1. Each Working group will have at least two chair persons. These positions will normally have a term of four years with one chair from each Working Group elected every two years at the AGM.
OK?

OK so no more comments, i will update the draft according to the above and notify regarding a vote on whether to accept this.

I have copied the draft to the website with a few minor modifications. e.g. correcting the numbering and removal of a reference to the ISA.
The version to be voted on is now here
Leaving this issue open for further feedback until the vote is concluded.

After further feedback we have rewritten this to remove the legalistic language. It is now less of a "constitution" and more like some governing principles and a code of conduct.
This version is here and is now open for further consultation
