Make space-efficient PDF files with page numbers

As a refugee helper with a simple desktop printer, I need the print versions to be on the smalles possible number of pdf pages. I also need page numbers to be included to prevent mixups

In my view, this should be dealt with by the printer, not by the html file

I also do think that there is no need to generate a pdf. Printing the html and then photocopying the sheets should do the trick
