Despite the readme, in practicality jammy (22.04 LTS) is still the pseudo-supported build dist until later this year since the python2-dev package required to build has been dropped in newer Ubuntu releases (per discussion in #101). My best guess would be that we would look to move to noble (24.04 LTS) at that time, and llvm would be upgraded at the same time. Maybe worth leaving this open until then though.
