Is it possible to execute an action only if a sync changes something ? #104

On https://github.com/TinyCC/tinycc we are syncing the original repository and I want to add/call an action to build and test it but only if something has changed (I mean there github-sync really synced something since last time).
The action when something changed would something like https://github.com/mingodad/tinycc/actions/runs/1638429826/workflow .

I just found that I can use the normal push event and it seems to work (at least the first time so far).
