Clicking a node in the outline view seems to position the caret (aka cursor, insertion point) at the beginning of the corresponding line. But this is not highly visible, and it can be hard to trace from the marker to the code in a deeply nested code block.
It would be better to select the corresponding line (as with the RAPID-ML outline view) or the corresponding keyword or name (as with the Java/JDT outline view).
