Right now, we use the share image in the root public page to create the _gfxpreview.png for all media-interactive editions.
We allow an override when there's a JPG edition created through the assets directory, BUT we should probably allow for a more general purpose override.
One option is to look for an og:image tag on the embed pages and, if set, use that image instead.
