Issue :
Unable to interact with fenrus after opening a link and then hitting back button

Reproduce:
Have window set as "Open in this tab"
Open a link
Press back button

Doing this makes the "launching ...." text appear and stay there,
Only way to remove is doing a manual refresh of page

What browesr? What version? What OS?

This doesn't happen to me on Vivaldi windows, 5.1.2567.57 (Stable channel) (64-bit) or ... ah it happens on chrome.... but not edge or vivaldi.

Ill take a look

just pushed a change that hopefully fixes this. difficult to test as I only have the one machine that it happens on. Any chance you can confirm if this fixes it?

That seems to have fixed it for me, I dont see any launch splash at all now though even during the actual launch of a page

Not sure if it's just not showing or I am loading to fast

still showing for me. it only shows on slower pages as the browser navigates away too quickly on fast pages. github tends to show this 100% of the time.

this is chrome 99 windows.
