ESGST sometimes duplicates everything ESGST related

I have been seeing this periodically for quite some time. Unfortunately I have no idea what causes it or how to make it show up on demand so it can be tested.

Sometimes every single thing related to ESGST will have a second copy (or more) that shows up. For example I just had two copies of the ESGST buttons on the top of the page, two copies of all the comment formatting buttons, so that there was a second row of the exact same buttons repeated underneath themselves, etc. This happened on several pages.

I used to think it was a greasemonkey issue. But I have that disabled entirely right now, and am using the Firefox ESGST extension. In the past I have sometimes seen ESGST elements repeated up to five times.

Does it only happen in the extension?

It was happening randomly on Greasemonkey for several months before I recently stopped using Greasemonkey at all switched to the extension. Tbh, I was surprised that it still continued to randomly happen after switching to the extension.

I think it's much more common when having several SG pages open. Sometimes four or five pages might be enough if I remember right. But it doesn't always happen when several SG pages are opened. Not even when many more pages than that are opened, so it feels very random.
