As the subject said, how can youtube-dl download a 4K Video if it's not avaiable on the --list formats
Is there a weird hidden itag for the 1080p Version of every Video (which i would prefer because my devices don't support higher resolutions)
I've seen already the discussions about the missing itag 37, and we all know it's Googles Fault.
Will there be an automatic way to combine the itags 137 + 141 with ffmpeg in future updates?
But i have to say youtube-dl is still the best, flexible and customised way to download videos from youtube. I begun to build a whole workflow around it to make a skriptbased, full-featured DownloadServer.

We can't do magic ;), so unless someone finds some way of getting those itags, it will be impossible.
Automatically combinining the audio and video is being tracked in #1612, the problem with the missing itags is in #1578 (i don't know if it can be fixed). As with other problems/feature requests in youtube-dl, contributions are welcommed!
I'm closing it since there are already issues for tracking those problems, thanks for the report.
Thanks for you quick answer! My youtube-dl is downloading most videos currently in 4K i don't know why. Yes you guys can't do magic, but for muggels you do it very well! ;)
