make_passband

The make_passband tool reads response data, and writes them to a passband file. It accepts the following command-line arguments:

make_passband

<input_file_name>

Name of input file (see below).

<F_0>

Normalizing flux F₀ ($\erg\,\cm^{-2}\,\second^{-1}\,\angstrom^{-1}$).

<passband_file_name>

Name of output passband file.

The input file is a text file tabulating wavelength λ ($\angstrom$) and passband response function S′(λ) (see the photometric-colors section).
