Feature Description.
Add a feature to the OpenTracks application by introducing a feature that accurately calculates and showcases elevation metrics for each ski run. This integration will help users with insights crucial for optimizing and evaluating their skiing performance and gaining deeper insights through the OSM dashboard

Proposed Solution
Add a feature to the app that computes elevation data. The precise computation and presentation of each ski run's elevation profile will be made possible by this data. By using the phone's built-in barometer, supplemented with GPS data, the program will guarantee accuracy while calculating elevation changes during ski suns in mountainous locations. It will also follow the app's offline functionality and privacy-focused design guidelines.

Alternative Solution
An alternative would be to include a comprehensive elevation analysis tool in the app that makes use of cutting-edge topographical algorithms and real-time satellite imagery. This technology will provide previously unheard-of accuracy in elevation profiles for ski runs by not only computing elevation data but also adjusting for atmospheric conditions.

Additional Context
Elevation data is essential for calculating calorie burn, evaluating skiing performance, and optimizing training regimens. This feature enhances the user experience, increases user engagement, and makes progress monitoring easier by giving the user advanced session summaries on the OSM dashboard.
