Would love it if this was an option. We track time to first contact and texts get logged as an RC event. It does not update the last contacted info as it's not logged as a contact event in hubspot.

@KDLN currently the Chrome Extension does log SMS as "Activity" event for a contact (not "Call" as it's technically not a call and doesn't have a lot of the same metadata). Or are you referring to the HubSpot Marketplace App (https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-integration-for-hubspot)?

It logs on the activity timeline, but it does not count in HubSpot reporting as a Contact activity. We use both but for the extension logged texts are logged as a RingCentral event.

@KDLN we checked with the HubSpot Integration team and they also mentioned that logging SMS text as a call event is not recommended. They understand the issue of not updating the last contacted info with these events. They are looking into a solution and will get back to me with when they can have this reported to trigger an engagement.
