Struggling to figure out how to specify a SID or a Service Name in Oracle connections.
If using the "Fill database connection details" option, there is no option for a SID, and no option for a Service Name. So the connection errors out for me with "ORA-12504: TNS:listener was not given the SERVICE_NAME in CONNECT_DATA".
If manually specifying a URL, there is no option to really avoid storing a password (and so being prompted for it, etc.), and even a format like:
oracledb://sys as sydba:@server.domain.ext:1521/servicename
returns "ORA-12162: TNS:net service name is incorrectly specified".
As the names are replaced by asterisks in the full error message, it is unclear what is actually being passed here.
