Navigation bar is not covered by alert backdrop

Only the content is covered by the alert backdrop. Even when the alert is shown, I can click the header bar buttons.

It's my understanding that this is corrected in 0.57. The RC is out now.

Nope did not ... I am still on 0.51 ...

I'm on 0.57 using wix react-native-navigation. Navigation bar is not covered. As far as I know you have to wrap things in react-native's Modal component to make it cover the entire screen.
