DOS version error no config

Hi, it's not really an issue on itself but more of a problem.
I installed eLinks on my DOS machine and everythings works fine execpt for the fact that I cannot make it locate/create/open a single config file. The most important one is elinks.conf to save my options. I've followed the docs but I either do not understand a thing or it just doesn't work.

I'm not a unix user, I never used it and I will not use it.

Nevermind, I needed to lunch the .bat file instead of elinks.exe
Can't believe I spent 2 hours on this -_- . . .
