git submodules issue when cloning this repo #2

fixed this issue by

git cloning outside of another repo and copied and paste just the contents, exclude .git/ directory

find another way of avoiding git submodule. there must be a github configuration here when people use git clone on their project directory

rlynjb added the bug label
