The standalone version of the Early Summer'18 release does have the new Xfade option, but this has not been implemented yet in the LV2 version.

the lv2 plugin v0.9.1 does implement both the xfade and xzero options.

how did you get the evidence? maybe you have duplicate installs of the samplv1.lv2 bundle? one older than todays v0.9.1 somewhere ?

our humble apologies :) you are right.
we had an older version of samplv1 installed in usr/lib/lv2, together with the beta version we built this morning in /usr/local/lib/lv2
Uninstalled the older version and the new LV2 version works fine.
