Move current_branch() from git plugin to core lib/git.zsh
Browse files Browse the repository at this point in the history
Fixes #4085: core -> plugin dependency issue.
Rename it to git_current_branch for clarity that it's git-specific.
Update all plugins that were calling it to use new name.
Fix variable leaks by making more variables in lib/git.zsh local.
Have lib/git.zsh use [[ ]] instead of [ ] everywhere.

Why $ZSH_THEME_GIT_PROMPT_EQUAL_REMOTE has been removed? @mcornella @apjanke @robbyrussell

I made the branch for this PR about the same time you first added $ZSH_THEME_GIT_PROMPT_EQUAL_REMOTE, so I probably had based it on a version from before your PR got merged in, and it just got lost in a rebase or merge for this PR. No reason it shouldn't be there. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Change looks good to me, but I think you want to make that PR against robbyrussell/oh-my-zsh instead of your own fork.
