Path-completion gets stuck in Mac OS X #4185

I have installed zsh with Oh-my-zsh yesterday. Every time there is a longer path (say with 3 or 4 directories), the path completion gets stuck. It shows up after about 8-10 seconds, though.

I am using iTerm2 with robbyrussell theme.

I have found that if I disable compinit, then the problem goes (along with the feature to cycle through completions). Any suggestions?
