3 options -

  • parse full postcode data and transform Eastings and Norhings into Lat Long (approx 1.74m records)
  • call the FYMP API to get the constituency and use constituency centroid
  • ask internal user if a dataset of postcode district centroids is available

Notes: reducing traffic load, API availability, "baking" vs frying, initial data loads.
