Hello,

I am new to Robotics. Is it possible to test server.mod and run other programs in robotstudio, without having it connected to the real controller.

Thanx for the help and support.

It should be, a virtual controller behaves very much lika a real controller, including network communication.

Also, I think filing an issue is not really meant for this kind of questions. I'd suggest the ABB forums: https://forums.robotstudio.com/categories/robotstudio

@RYANZYC you may want to take a look at the Robot Ex Machina framework: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvxxYImPCApXj3tHVKmpTS_AuMPngnA47

It uses a similar approach to open_abb, with dedicated server modules for real-time communication, and testeable with RobotStudio: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvxxYImPCApUffcv_KtdR-sQydA4O4CPH
