Feature request: adding packaging to archive, build script

Hi,
I maintain the Shuriken PKGBUILDs for Arch on AUR. Right now, they retrieve the icon and .desktop files from GitHub individually, and install them using additional commands. Would it be too much hassle to add the packaging directory to the source tarball and include their installation in the build script?

That seems like a good idea. I can't change the contents of tarballs for published releases because they are snapshots of the repo at fixed points in time. However, I can amend the build script and include the packaging directory in future releases.
