So, I was able to recover what i thought was a bricked cam using the no solder method. Worked fantastic and brought my cam back to life. However, now I'm having issues applying the hack. I've tried the latest release .2.0, .1.8, and .1.7, and all three do the same thing where the cam comes up and just continues to reset. No time to even pull up the web page or ssh in. I'm using a 32GB card so that should be small enough. Any suggestions to try? Removing the card it boots up fine, but unhacked :(
Update
After some fast browser refreshing I was able to change settings in between reboots and found that it's the Audio that was causing it to reboot. Even though it shows disabled on a fresh install, I had to enable it, save, reboot, then disable it. I discovered this by enabling and disabling everything 1 at a time until it stopped rebooting. I currently now have it running the latest version of the hack with everything enabled except for the audio. (I also was able to enabled the swap file in between reboots but that didn't stop it from rebooting) Next I'm going to test everything and verify it's working solid for the new hour or so.
Update 2**
Everything appears to be working fine now. So now I'm just curios why :
the audio seems to be enabled on a fresh install of the hack even though it shows in the gui as disabled
why does the audio cause the constant reboots?
One last thing that I have noticed on both this cam and the dome cam (r30gb) once you apply the hack, you can no longer through the kami app view historical video on the sd card. I've gone so far as to disable everything so the only thing running was ssh and the webserver and still when you try to watch video on the sd card from the app it simply jumps to Live mode. Any thoughts?
