Description of change: The current name for the institution is The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens (see the website huntington.org). This change was made to clarify that the art collections can be visited in galleries (which collections didn't make clear). The official (legal) name of is the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery, however (this is, for example, how we are listed in our tax returns). It might be helpful for these other names to be referenced, because they have been used publicly for the organization in the past, for example in publications. Also, if it is possible to list the Huntington as more than one type, we are both an archive and a nonprofit that sponsors research.
