It looks like wifi starts to cut out on the Galaxy Nexus Jelly Bean 4.1 when running the sensors driver and turning off the screen.

Check this page for the WIFI_MODE_FULL_HIGH_PERF value and see if it resolves the issue:http://developer.android.com/reference/android/net/wifi/WifiManager.html#WIFI_MODE_FULL_HIGH_PERF
