My devices are toggling between available and unavailable approx every second, then eventually will go offline.
They are stable and always accessible using the Tuya app so it is unlikely to be a network issue.

Home Assistant 2022.8.7 (running in docker on an ubuntu 22.04 host).
Local Tuya v4.0.2

Same here. Delete Cloud API account and everything will be ok. I think it's a bug

@gianlucaf81 - what do you mean by delete cloud API account? On iot.tuya.com or ?

I removed the Cloud API Account (LocalTuya > Configure > Reconfigure Cloud API Account > delete fields > Save. Restart)

Wanted to chime in and also say that removing the cloud API from the Local Tuya integration is the only thing that has worked for me so far with devices constantly switching between available/unavailable.

@gianlucaf81 - this didn't seem to help unfortunately. But if I go in again to LocalTuya > Configure > Reconfigure Cloud API Account following the restart the fields are restored so seems like the save didn't clear anything.

UPDATE: I noticed there was a 'Do not configure cloud account' checkbox and this seems to be working now following a reset. Will report back if these change doesn't take over the next few days.

Experiencing the same issues with the toggles going haywire and then everything showing as unavailable.
Currently now running the official Tuya integration due to this but lights take over 10seconds to turn on when recognized by the sensors.

Still very new to HA, how/where do I find the 'configure' option for LocalTuya?
(LocalTuya > Configure > Reconfigure Cloud API Account > delete fields > Save. Restart)

My localtuya on the integrations page doesn't have a 'configure' option and haven't ben able to find anywhere else to do this.

Thanks,

I'm an idiot :P

I had disabled it when I installed the official one, when I unhid the disabled one I forgot to enable again which is why the configure button wasn't showing.

Seems to be stable now after editing and ticking the box to remove the IOT cloud account, just a pia to reconnect the wifi sensors.

After removing the cloud account (even reinstalled the integration), my devices still become unavailable intermittently.

Both are ceiling fans and one of them is in the bedroom and gives a beep every time it becomes available again. Kinda annoying. I'm quite sure that this was not happening on the previous version.

Same issue here. Rebooted so many times, reloaded integration, now removed cloud account from LocalTuya. Let's see whether it's gonna be any better.

I have never configured the Cloud API and have been experiencing this bug (devices alternating between available/unavailable every few seconds) since before version 4.0.
