Describe the bug
After logging in and loading into the world, the display driver crashes.

To Reproduce

  1. Use a modern Linux distro (I used Fedora 36 or openSUSE Tumbleweed)
  2. Run the AppImage of RuneLite
  3. Install the 117 HD plugin
  4. Turn it on
  5. Restart RuneLite
  6. Complete system crash upon amdgpu failure

Expected behavior
RuneLite with the 117 HD plugin should work fine each time assuming nothing changes with the environment

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed
  • RuneLite version: 2.4.2
  • Launcher version: 2.4.2
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT (dimgrey_cavefish, LLVM 14.0.3, DRM 3.44, 5.17.7-1-default) (0x73ff)
  • Kernel: 5.17.7-1-default

Additional context

  • I noticed one time where starting RL without the 117 plugin enabled, loading into the world, and then enabling the plugin worked fine. I was at Pest Control, and as soon as the boat launched to the game (zone change), the GPU driver crashed
  • According to Terminal output, it seems RL is detecting and using OpenGL 4.6 Core Profile (no overrides)
  • System is not recoverable after the driver crash (amdgpu kernel module restarts, but GNOME doesn't recover)
