Great idea for a plug in! I have a request / idea. Would it be possible to add a word count, so that you can see how many words you wrote on a specific day? Or have the option to see what files you have edited a specific day. Personally, I more often edit / add to notebooks, rather than creating new ones.

Currently, Joplin doesn't track the number of words a user writes per day.
Similarly, Joplin only tracks the most recent date + time that a note was updated.
If I understand, the suggestion above is to track the full history of when a note was edited. (i.e. "touch history")
Both of these requires adding new tracking functionality to the plugin which might take some effort.
This would probably be easier if we could use the history of a note, but Joplin doesn't expose that API unfortunately.
Additional feasibility research might be needed for this one.
