Nope. I did consider it, but since Inter UI is primarily for use in shorter text and user interfaces, old-style numbers don't really have much use. If you're setting longer text, a serif font is usually more readable anyways, and most quality serif typefaces include old-style numbers.
Most websites we build at the agency I develop for are using sans-serif typefaces, most clients (or our designers ;) do not seem to like serifs. These are mostly product or info sites with no real long articles but nevertheless passages of text which would benefit from old style numbers. I did consider Inter UI as a better replacement for the old boring Open Sans which so many sites use these days and esp. like the tabular number support.
I would try to contribute but am no typographer. Maybe someone would be tempted in the future ;)
Any plans to add oldstyle (onum) numbers which are so much better for use in text?
